With any flagship product, you expect to see the very best materials combined with unequalled build quality and a performance level that can take your breath away. Well, AudioQuest's Wild Dog doesn't disappoint with a finely crafted subwoofer cable that boasts solid 100% silver conductors - given the Perfect Surface treatment of course! The end-result of a lifetime of cable research but the only result that matters is the astonishing clarity, smoothness and authority that Wild Dog is capable of.

Perfect-Surface Technology applied
to extreme-purity silver provides
unprecedented clarity and dynamic contrast.
Wolf’s conductors use Air-Tube insulation
because air absorbs next to no energy,
and FEP is the best extrudable solid insulation
and absorbs less energy than other materials.
The FEP Air-Tubes have almost nothing but air
Metal and Carbon-Loaded synthetics prevent most .
RFI from reaching the equipment’s ground plane
The three conductors ensure that
whether prepared with RCA or XLR plugs,
the + & - signals have equally low-distortion conducting paths
Creates a strong, stable electrostatic
field which saturates and polarizes
(organizes) the molecules of the insulation.
Thisy reduces dielectric induced smearing of the signal,
letting sound emerge from a “black” background.
This plug design allows for a connection devoid of solder,
which is a common source of distortion.
Because the ground shells are stamped instead of machined,
the metal can be chosen for low distortion
Sometimes there is a hum problem unless the
subwoofer and AV receiver (or surround-sound processor)
are attached to each other using a separate wire.
If your system has a hum problem,
try attaching the little spade-lug tails to the metal chassis .
of the subwoofer amplifier
and to the chassis of the source component
Usually, this extra wire will not be needed.
